Moe Lazri was born in Algiers and lived in Paris before emigrating to the US and making San Antonio his home.

His passion for food and wine resulted in a long career in fine dining.

Art is a big part of the Lazri family. Moe and his wife, April, are art collectors. Two of their three sons are active artists; Malek is a Plastican and a set designer, while Omar is a Painter.

Moe was primarily involved in restaurant, home and furniture design. During the Covid-19 confinement, picked up a brush and started painting and creating minimal style abstract metal structures. Each piece is designed and hand crafted.

Moe’s sculptures are currently displayed at Castle Hills City Hall.
